In celebration of GreenEarth Heritage Foundation’s 16th anniversary, we brought a group of our most dedicated young scholars on an unforgettable exposure trip to Metro Manila — a journey that opened their eyes, sparked their imagination, and deepened their connection to their Filipino identity.

For many of our children, this was their first real experience of the capital — not just passing through, but truly exploring its historic and cultural landmarks. Over the course of two days, they visited an astounding six museums:

  • Ayala Museum
  • The Mind Museum
  • National Museum of Natural History
  • National Museum of Anthropology
  • National Museum of Fine Arts
  • The Intramuros experience

They also spent time at Rizal Park and walked the cobbled paths of Manila’s historic walled city.

But this wasn’t just a sightseeing tour — it was a learning mission.
Before the trip, each child was assigned to research one or more of the destinations. They prepared PowerPoint presentations and gave live presentations to their peers, serving as the group’s “tour guides.” This made the experience more personal, educational, and empowering.

Their enthusiasm was contagious. For children coming from rural Bulacan, many of whom had never stepped into a museum, the trip was eye-opening and awe-inspiring. Even those who had previously been to Manila had never visited places like these. The combination of wonder, reflection, and cultural pride was palpable. The experience stirred questions about who they are as Filipinos, and what role they can play in shaping their country’s future.

On Day 3, the children capped off their journey with something just as meaningful: a worship service at Christ’s Commission Fellowship (CCF). Surrounded by joyful praise and a vibrant community of believers, they were reminded that true transformation includes not only the mind, but also the heart and spirit. The day ended with a joyful lunch before the group journeyed back home to GreenEarth.

This trip was made possible through the generosity of individuals who believe in the next generation. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

These children returned not just with photos and souvenirs, but with bigger dreams, broader perspectives, and a deeper love for their country and culture.

Together, we continue to transform land — and transform lives.
