Volunteer

Volunteers are at the cornerstone of our operations. We cannot accomplish all that we do without their ongoing support.

There are many ways to get involved as a volunteer at GreenEarth Heritage Foundation—from weekly commitments to one-time contributions of time.

Administrative

Join the administrative team at GreenEarth by providing support for office tasks such as answering phone calls, data entry, preparing materials for our many activities and special events. Computer literacy is absolutely necessary.

Agriculture

Working alongside GreenEarth’s agriculturist and other farm staff, volunteers can participate in vegetable production, making seed blocks, seeding and transplanting young plants. There is a wide diversity of tasks in the farm which can be a rich learning experience for garden, nature lovers and green thumbs.

Community Development

The people we serve at GreenEarth are farmers and their families living in the foothills of the Sierra Madre Mountains in San Miguel, Bulacan. Despite the proximity of this area to the Philippines’ bustling capital region of Metro Manila (it is only over 2 hours drive), government requests for better roads and bridge infrastructure in this area have not been heard. The families are therefore separated from the nearest public school, markets, churches, mainstream community activity centers by a bridge-less river.

GreenEarth is in need for people with a heart for missions. Any length of commitment would be most welcome! Teachers of music and the arts, literacy, livelihood, and all aspects of community development would be delighted and enriched by our farmers’ children who love to learn. Their parents, most of whom did not even complete elementary education are also open to increasing their knowledge whenever they are not busy at the farm.

Weekend, summer or longer commitment educator volunteers would be a great blessing to GreenEarth!
