Ronald V. Bernas is currently a Partner for Tax & Legal with Deloitte Philippines. Prior to joining Deloitte, he was a Partner and Head of the Tax Practice Group of Quisumbing Torres, a member firm of Baker McKenzie International.

Ronnie has over 25 years of experience as a tax lawyer specializing in tax advisory and tax controversy. He has advised several multinational corporation in various sectors on mergers & acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and cross border transactions. He represented clients before the Bureau of Internal Revenue, the Court of Tax Appeals and Supreme Court which have resulted in the cancellation or significant reduction of tax assessments and the grant of refund claims.
